5th Automotive Conference in Legnica
The fifth edition of the Automotive conference in Legnica was about the latest trends in the automotive industry. This cyclical event is a platform for exchanging experiences and presenting innovative solutions in the field of digitization, automation and robotization.
The conference was committed to: digitization, automation and production processes, cloud solutions, logistic recommendations in factory operations and maintenance. During the event there was: 200 participants, 30 speakers and 24 presentations. Participants were able to enrich their knowledge about the digital technology of automotive industry transformation.
The first to give a speech was CFO Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Aleksandra Łukasik, then on the stage appeared Assembly and Maintenance Director, Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland Thomas Kaiser, who announced Co-CEO KOGIFI. Marek Czarzbon said that in the near future Augmented Reality will be used on many levels of industry. For years, enterprises have been constantly implementing modern technologies and robotic manufacturing processes. AR technology will use employee muscle memory in the process of staff training. The young generation will be shaped by the XR market, which will change production. Mercedes-Benz announces that it will employ another 1,000 people, thanks to KOGIFI's visionary approach, the use of AR technology on the production line will facilitate the implementation of new employees faster. Activities and the latest solutions can always be observed at the most prestigious technology fairs in Poland and in the world. During the conference Volkswagen Poznań received the award as the best "Car manufacturer", and Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland as the best "Investment in Poland". The Conference's Industry Partner was Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland, which this year will start the production of engines at the new factory in Jawor. Activities and the latest solutions can always be observed at the most prestigious technology fairs in Poland and in the world. Augmented Reality is making industrial work more productive. Users can experience AR marked-up views of equipment and spaces through smart-glasses or by using an Android smartphone app to mark-up video from the phone's camera in real time.
