Not many IT companies immediately have decided to enforce remote working, but we had done it. We are ready for our team to work in every, especially those tough to foresee, circumstances. We feel responsible for our employees. We trust each other and believe that this is the best way out of today's situation. The initiative came out from the Management Board of Kogifi at the beginning of this month, each of us felt that this was a crucial decision.
Remote work has its pros and cons. Home is a mainstay of peace and a sense of security. Office is a place in which, we are building bonds between coworkers and have meaningful conversations or engaging meetings. Where might we be more efficient?
Recent events across the world are not as optimistic as we would like it to be. It is also a difficult time for our clients and partners. Kogifi Consulting Group treated the following situation as a test of responsibility and commitment for its team. Not everything turned out to be simple, also in logistics. Moving “Mixed Reality” electronic devices weighs a ton and is a real feat! We managed to do it as smooth as we could. The board and employees have been working remotely since 10th of March. This is not a joke, but we sometimes enjoy a black humor. Why? During teleconferences, we can hear in the background our children chatting, pets barking or small talks of the relatives about shops being out of toilet paper. That makes us tick. Let’s stay on bright side of the problem. We can get to know better our co-workers, laugh at what is happening in their homes, or hear the stories about minor problems with the tap, or neighbors who decided to do renovations during the epidemic time.
Remote work is a challenge, but we believe that mutual trust will unite the team and all projects will be implemented as usual. We believe that is it a great test of proficiency for our Leaders.
We wish all the partners, clients and associates to stay healthy and calm in the coming weeks.
Take care of yourself as we care for you. :)
