In September, the European representative of the FANUC group, an expert in the industrial robotics market, announced the start of the cooperation with a Polish company specializing in AR / VR, IoT and artificial intelligence solutions - KOGIFI. The company's digital competences will be used to create innovative Industry 4.0 solutions for modern enterprises around the world.
FANUC is a world leader in CNC technology and robotics with over 60 years of the experience. Founded in 1982, FANUC America has over 1,500 employees, which specializes in customer service, engineering, finance, human resources, IT, logistics, operations, manufacturing, product development, sales & marketing and training. Due to the high research and development expenditures, the machines designed and created by FANUC ensure maximum production efficiency, reduce costs, and also allow minimizing unplanned downtime. KOGIFI is a new partner of the market leader,an enterprise founded in Wrocław, which specializes in building intelligent solutions for companies, from the industrial, e-commerce and medical sectors, based on platforms such as Adobe, Sitecore and Salesforce. Thanks to the acquisition of MadeInHolo in 2018 (augmented and virtual reality technology), KOGIFI initiated the process of increasing the scope of its services, which enabled the company to expand Industry 4.0.
KOGIFI and FANUC are working on a joint offer of services that will help clients of both companies to fulfill the mission of digitizing processes, optimizing the use of machines and other important aspects of production, all while maintaining maximum and precise performance. Both companies presented the developed solutions to a wide audience at a joint stand during EMO 2019, the world's largest trade fair dedicated to metalworking technology, which took place in Hannover in September. - At the end of 2019, FANUC will launch a new Industry 4.0 platform in selected European countries, which will allow customers to optimize manufacturing processes, manage the factory infrastructure, and fill the gap in the differences in communication standards between machines. The platform's market success will be determined by its reliability and attractiveness of available applications. We believe that cooperation with KOGIFI will result in meeting the expectations of European customers - says Konrad Grohs, Director of Field System Department, FANUC Europe. The most modern AR and VR technologies and management using IoT and Big Data analyzes will be used to build FANUC solutions - By building a vision of development and the possibility of using our solutions in AR / VR technology, in combination with artificial intelligence and data analysis, we have founded a way adding another element of the equation that will allow manufacturing companies to save time and reduce the costs of the training, support and energy consumption - adds Marek Czarzbon, CTO KOGIFI.
