What is Sitecore Experience Edge?

Sitecore Experience Edge is a delivery service for headless content. It publishes content from Sitecore to a globally distributed network and exposes it through a GraphQL API. It is used by XM Cloud and SitecoreAI, and it scales with traffic without extra work from your team. Authors publish as usual, and Edge handles distribution.

Front-end applications, such as Next.js sites, request content from Edge instead of querying the authoring environment. This keeps delivery fast and separates authoring from the public site.
